Captain John Henry Toth(Radio Squad)

Captain John Henry Toth is the chief of the police department that includes Officer Sandy Kean's radio-squad. He is the second chief during Kean's chronicled cases, replacing an unnamed chief who was presumably removed from his post after it was revealed he was in the pocket of a racketeer. While Toth is frequently shown to be demanding of and verbally abusive toward his officers, he is an ardent defender of law and order. Toth is married and has at least one son, Roy, who once came into Toth's officers cross-hairs himself, shortly after Toth's 70th birthday.
