Martyn Van Wyck(DC)

Martyn Van Wyck was raised by his alcoholic father after the death of his mother, which influenced him to become a bitter man. When he is abducted by Controllers (an alien race) and given superpowers of telekinsis, flight, and flame-based power constructs, he becomes Effigy.
