Bug Wars: The Spyder Wytch Special #1 — Lair of the Fire Spiders

The bug war wages on in this extra-length special that burrows deep into the shadowy world of the Mytes — the insectoid warriors who fight, live, and die in the grass-stained trenches of The Yard. But this time, the story is spun from an even darker thread... through the many eyes of the Spyder Wytches of Wyrdweb — the most mysterious, seductive, and feared denizens of this twisted ecosystem. Created by comics powerhouses JASON AARON (Thor, TMNT) and MAHMUD ASRAR (Conan the Barbarian, X-Men), and joined by breakout art phenom BALDEMAR RIVAS (DC’s Two-Face, Godzilla Vs. Kansas City), BUG WARS: THE SPYDER WYTCH SPECIAL is crawling with new lore, explosive action, and web-woven secrets that will forever change what you think you know about the Yard. And bee prepared for the return of the BUG WARS series later in 2026.
