Beasts of Burden #4 — Grave Happenings

When a four-legged friend is found disoriented and traumatized, Pugs, Red, Ace, and Whitey call in the troops to investigate. Something has gone awry at the local cemetery, and it's up to a gang of cats and dogs to unravel the paranormal mysteries of Burden Hill. This issue marks the conclusion of Evan Dorkin and Jill Thompson's Beasts of Burden, a four-issue arc chronicling the adventures of these heroic characters first introduced in the anthologies The Dark Horse Book of Hauntings and the other Dark Horse Book of . . . volumes, for which they won coveted Eisner Awards for Best Short Story and Best Painter.
